There is a system, or language, for every art form; words, musical notes, dance movements, color & line, etc. In the visual arts, the elements and principals of shape, color, line, value, rhythm, pattern, scale, texture, space, form and perspective are used in infinite combinations to create and communicate. This exhibition will focus on analyzing the artworks of five artists, breaking them down into visual elements, and then reconstructing those elements into wholly new abstract artworks.
